6th Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Stevie Award Winners to be Announced in NYC in November

Earlier this month we were advised that we were named as a Finalist in the Sixth Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business in the following categories:

• Best Entrepreneur – Service Businesses – Up to 100 Employees
• Best Overall Company of the Year – Service Businesses – up to 100 Employees
• Most Innovative Company of the Year – Up to 100 Employees

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

We are thrilled to be recognized as a finalist in three competitive categories. We take great pride in creating an atmosphere that helps our clients and staff to thrive and we are committed to bringing the latest and greatest hair solutions to today’s women.

The Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, November 13. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend. The presentations will be broadcast live on radio in the U.S. by the Business TalkRadio Network.

More than 1,100 entries were submitted this year for consideration in 54 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, and Best Community Involvement Program. Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging.

Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards has commented that “being named a Finalist in The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an important achievement. It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”

Last year, we were honored as the 2008 Jeffrey H. Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. This year, we were selected to participate in Hair Loss Confidential, a new television series that provides a full hair loss transformation to one lucky person each episode. Wow.
